Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing project financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings;
- Developing and implementing cost reduction strategies, collaborating with project teams to optimize project outcomes;
- Providing training and support to junior staff members on cost management best practices;
- Maintaining accurate records of project costs, progress, and variations;
A minimum of 8 years' experience in cost management is required, with a strong background in real estate construction projects. A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential, along with RICS and AACE certifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also necessary.
