About This Role:
As a Senior Technology R&D Manager, you will lead a team of software engineers in developing and maintaining our products.
You will be responsible for designing overall system architecture, researching marketing requirements, helping fellow developers and conducting unit testing and integration testing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Leading a team of software engineers in developing and maintaining our products.
- System Architecture Design: Designing overall system architecture including internal architecture of a component, communication protocols and interfaces to other components.
- Marketing Requirement Research: Researching and understanding marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues; researching new technology or development tools to remain abreast of current technology.
- Developer Support: Helping and training fellow developers to work with new product components/modules, follow company coding practices and architectural guidelines.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conducting unit testing and integration testing, performing code and design reviews.
- Usability and Documentation: Responsible for product's usability by designing user interfaces, creating use cases, implementing prototypes, and conducting usability tests; preparing technical documentation of product, creating user interface guidelines and conducting reviews.
