About the Role:
The Country Manager will be responsible for driving and implementing the company's business model in Canada. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a great company and work in an exceptional team. We are looking for an executive who lives in Canada and has experience in the salmon industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for business growth and expansion in the Canadian market, with a strong focus on sales strategy and relationship building.
- Establish strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders in Canada to drive sales and business development efforts.
- Supervise and manage all operations and business activities in the country, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and strategic goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate in creating innovative solutions to enhance sales and market presence.
- Ensure the achievement of sales and profitability objectives in Canada through effective sales planning and execution.
- Effectively manage the budget and resources allocated for the Canadian market, optimizing sales and marketing initiatives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Regularly review and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth.
Requirements:
- Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive attitude, with the ability to make strategic decisions and lead initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of operations and production in the salmon industry.
- Previous experience in leadership or management positions, preferably in an international environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Results-oriented and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
