About the Role:

The Country Manager will be responsible for driving and implementing the company's business model in Canada. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a great company and work in an exceptional team. We are looking for an executive who lives in Canada and has experience in the salmon industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies for business growth and expansion in the Canadian market, with a strong focus on sales strategy and relationship building.
  2. Establish strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders in Canada to drive sales and business development efforts.
  3. Supervise and manage all operations and business activities in the country, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and strategic goals.
  4. Identify new business opportunities and collaborate in creating innovative solutions to enhance sales and market presence.
  5. Ensure the achievement of sales and profitability objectives in Canada through effective sales planning and execution.
  6. Effectively manage the budget and resources allocated for the Canadian market, optimizing sales and marketing initiatives.
  7. Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  8. Regularly review and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth.

Requirements:

  1. Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive attitude, with the ability to make strategic decisions and lead initiatives.
  2. Solid knowledge of operations and production in the salmon industry.
  3. Previous experience in leadership or management positions, preferably in an international environment.
  4. Excellent communication skills and ability to establish strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Results-oriented and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  6. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of other languages would be an advantage.
