Job Description

The successful candidate will be a skilled Accounting Analyst with experience in managing various accounting functions, including taxes, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, and accounts payable and receivable.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Controller in managing accounting functions.
  • Validate account reconciliations and local trial balances.
  • Ensure accurate intercompany reconciliations.
  • Implement and manage indirect taxes processes (VAT payment file, sales book, purchase book, etc.).
  • Develop and implement direct taxes support (provide information to build income tax payment file).
  • Manage accrual, manual adjustments, closing activities, and taxes entries.
  • Coordinate with local authorities (Local IRS, municipal Auditors, etc.).
  • Process accounts payable, enter invoices, and ensure timely payments to vendors with proper tax treatment.
  • Maintain and prepare reconciliations.
  • Conduct accounting research and analysis.
  • Analyze accounting discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
  • Provide expert accounting guidance to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Enter various journal entries as needed during month/quarter-end.
  • Develop and prepare recurring schedules as necessary.
  • Generate, maintain, and execute financial reports.
