About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Event Planning and Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our internal business partners and external healthcare professionals to plan and execute localized educational and advisory events. Your primary focus will be on supporting the planning and execution of local Health Care Professional (HCP) customer-facing events in Latin America, with a primary focus on events in Chile.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage programs and events utilizing web-based systems and software applications.
  • Create registration sites, manage internal and external attendee registration and communications for concurrent programs and events following a variety of clearly defined procedures under general guidance.
  • Support ad hoc event reporting requests for attendance and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Work independently, coordinating with internal business partners in professional, supervisory, and peer-level roles and external HCP customers to plan and execute localized educational and advisory events.
  • Arrange Faculty/Speaker travel arrangements, transportation, and lodging.
  • Conduct venue sourcing and contracting, including negotiations.
  • Confirm room set up, menu selection, and audio-visual requirements.
  • Manage program invitations and confirming program logistics with internal partners and Speakers.
  • Accountable for budget management and assumes fiscal responsibility in managing program spend.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (completed and verified prior to start) AND 2-3 years work experience with direct coordination of healthcare-related or medical education Speaker program management.
  • Fluent bilingual oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish languages.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes competitive pay, comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
