Job Overview
This position performs Project Control functions related to cost and/or schedule management, assisting in the preparation of Project Controls activities for a project or assignment.
- Establish a Work Breakdown Structure and Project Coding Structure for control and integrity of work as defined by the contract.
- Collect and compile accurate cost management data to create project budgets and update project progress.
- Develop cost control/scheduling procedures, execution plans, and business plans for projects.
- Attend weekly project cost reviews/schedule meetings.
- Implement a basic change management system for engineering and construction.
- Maintain Management, Project, and Control level schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Candidate Considerations
Background checks are conducted as part of any conditional offer made, including education verification, professional registration, employment history, references, passport verification, and Global Watchlist screening.
Job Requirements
- An accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field, with six years of work experience or a combination of education and experience equal to ten years if non-degreed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
- Able to learn and apply local, state/provincial, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Desirable Qualifications
- Practical experience in using automated cost/schedule management systems.
- Holding leadership roles on various projects is preferred.
- May require international travel for project assignments and business-related matters.
