Postdoctoral Researcher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our team at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project focused on developing thermo-acoustic insulation from white rot fungus mycelium and phase change materials.

Research Project

The project aims to develop sustainable and biodegradable materials that can replace petroleum-based materials in the construction industry. You will be responsible for developing a research project on the following area:

  • Thermo-acoustic insulation from white rot fungus mycelium and phase change materials: A sustainable alternative for construction

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a research project on the specified area
  • Conducting experiments and data analysis
  • Collaborating with other university departments
  • Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in related areas
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A PhD degree in a relevant field
  • Not more than three years of postdoctoral experience
  • Previous postdoctoral or international academic and research experience
  • A solid commitment to academic and research life and the public good of the institution
