We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer for our IT data team to manage and contribute to software and services. As a key member of our team, you will lead the design, development, deployment, and support of solutions for our global user base.
Together with the Data Platform team, you will redefine how we design, build, integrate, and maintain our software and SaaS solutions.
You will work cross-functionally with analytics, engineering, and business domain experts to redesign and reimplement our Data Warehouse model(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into understandable data models for various disciplines.
- Partner with experts to build foundational data sets that meet business strategy and enable self-service.
- Champion data governance, security, privacy, quality, and retention strategies aligned with business policies.
- Own and document company metrics with clear definitions and data lineage.
- Identify, document, and promote best practices.
About You: Skills and Attributes
- You will design, implement, and scale data pipelines transforming billions of records into actionable data models.
- You will help lead initiatives formalizing data governance and management practices, rationalizing our information lifecycle, and key company metrics.
- You will provide mentorship and technical support to build trusted and reliable domain-specific datasets and metrics.
- You will have deep technical skills, be comfortable contributing to our nascent data ecosystem, and building a strong data foundation.
