About the Job:

This role is responsible for safely moving finished and unfinished goods throughout the plant.

Responsibilities:
  • Supplying aluminum shell and tab coils to production modules
  • Unloading coil truck deliveries – up to three coils per truck
  • Dumping garbage hopper into compactor
  • Accumulating and consolidating recycling materials
  • Moving finished goods from production modules to the stretch wrapper and into warehouse
  • Tending to scrap baler – removing totes, staging empty totes, operating overhead hoist, banding pallets of scrap bricks
  • Moving totes of heads and tails from production modules to warehouse for recycling
  • Shoveling scrap when baler is not functioning
  • Loading/Unloading balancer and moving balancer trays to and from the warehouse
  • Packing ends into sleeves and building pallets of finished goods on manual packing station
  • Miscellaneous cleaning or power washing during equipment overhauls
  • Conducting re-work when we have finished goods in Hold For Inspection (HFI) status
  • Operating sweeper and floor scrubber
  • Loading scrap brick, scrap slugs, and finished goods into trucks

This role requires strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Able to stand for long durations, grip, bend, reach, twist, climb, and drive. Able to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent 25 pounds.
