Job Responsibilities

As a key member of the ENERCON team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines. This will involve:

  1. Compliance with Company Policies: Adhere to ENERCON's rules and procedures, which are designed to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  2. Wind Turbine Operation: Safely operate wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  3. Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular electrical and mechanical maintenance routines on wind turbines, following ENERCON's instructions to prevent equipment failure.
  4. Corrective Maintenance: Identify and repair electrical and mechanical issues on wind turbines to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
  5. Commissioning Activities: Participate in the start-up process of new wind turbines, ensuring they are safely and efficiently operational.
  6. Installation and Maintenance: Assist in the installation of wind turbines, perform initial maintenance, and ensure all components are properly coupled and functioning.
  7. Electrical Circuit Management: Safely manage electrical circuits in medium and high voltage installations to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
  8. Component Repair: Repair electrical and electronic components of wind turbines according to ENERCON's procedures.
  9. Company Vehicle Operations: Safely operate company vehicles to perform departmental activities related to your functions.
  10. Safety Awareness: Stay informed about incident statistics, accidents, and risk situations in your area, taking proactive measures to prevent incidents and ensure a safe work environment.
  11. Access Control: Ensure that personnel outside your area of responsibility have been properly instructed on safety procedures and are using provided personal protective equipment.
  12. Safety Leadership: Demonstrate a commitment to safety standards and procedures, serving as a role model and multiplier of ENERCON's safety culture.
Vacancy Prerequisites

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Language Proficiency: Fluency in spoken and written Spanish, with knowledge of English and Portuguese desirable. Proficiency in basic computing, including Microsoft Excel and Office package.
  2. Electrical Qualifications: For those trained in the electrical field, qualification to perform medium and high voltage maneuvers is required.
  3. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, assertiveness, objectivity, order, dynamism, leadership, proactivity, flexibility, independence, and resilience.
  4. Technical Training: Complete technical training in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation area.
  5. Work Experience: Two years' experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and/or mechanical, depending on your qualification) is desirable. A minimum of one year's experience in wind turbine maintenance will be highly valued.
