About the RoleAs a Demand Specialist at DB Schenker, you will play a crucial role in supporting finance-controlling processes within the global IT organization. This position requires a strong understanding of financial systems and processes, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Process Management: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of incoming invoices, including validation in financial systems.
- Cost Management: Oversee the cross-charging of services and project costs on a global level, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Enter data into finance systems and support the preparation of monthly and year-end reports, including related delta analysis.
- Investment and Project Reporting: Assist in the preparation of reports on investments and projects, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
- Financial Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to track departmental financial budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Procurement Process Management: Oversee the administrative aspects of procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics.
- Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling positions.
- Skills: Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a virtual team environment.
- Language: Very good spoken and written English (B2) and working experience in an international environment.
