Agreements Sales Engineer
Valmet is seeking a professional with the right background for the role of Agreements Sales Engineer in Concepcion, Chile.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive top-line and profitability growth, customer satisfaction of agreement offering.
- Secure segment and solution approach including Multi-BU offering for our agreements.
- Management of Agreement sales projects according to the Valmet agreement sales process and Way to Operate.
- Best economical and technical solution for the customer needs.
- Proactive and fast response to customer in sync with customer ́s purchasing process (feasibility).
- Develop customer added value and concepts in agreement solutions and support in sales of agreements for chemical pulping, mechanical pulping, pulp drying, wood handling, fiber board technologies, tissue, paper and board business.
- Develop and integrate digital solutions into agreement frameworks and processes and participate in the development of new digital solutions.
- Support in execution of agreements and customer ́s plant development to ensure delivery of Valmet added value.
- Train and develop the organization in agreement sales and execution.
- Perform and support proposal work, costing of agreements and preparing quotations, sales presentations, and negotiations.
- Support and participate in the development and execution of Lifecycle services.
- Customer presentations.
Requirements:
- Several years of working experience from operations and/or maintenance of pulp or paper mills or similar process solutions, preferably with chemical pulping, mechanical pulping, pulp drying, wood handling, fiber board, tissue or paper board technologies in an industrial environment.
- Graduate degree in mechanical, maintenance or process engineering or operations of pulp plants or equivalent.
- Experience in sales and commercial awareness.
- Experience in digital solutions for the industry.
- Analytic, project planning and execution capability.
- Knowledge in maintenance standards and norms.
- Experience in shutdown planning.
- Analytic, project planning and execution capability.
- Knowledge of Life Cycle Cost Analysis.
- Fluent in Spanish and English in writing and verbally.
- Good skills in common IT-tools like MS Office, Salesforce and Sharepoint.
