Welcome to this exciting opportunity within NHS National Services Scotland's Department of Cellular Pathology As an Advanced Practitioner (Biomedical Scientist), you will play a key role in dissecting specimens alongside Consultant Histopathologists, adhering to RCPath competencies.

To succeed in this challenging position, you will need significant post-qualification experience, holding an MSc or equivalent, and the IBMS/RCPath Diploma of Expert Practice in Histological Dissection. You should also be prepared to complete the Advanced Specialist Diploma in Histological Dissection.

You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and professional development. Our department holds UKAS ISO 15189 accreditation and offers opportunities for training and growth.

Please note that due to changes in working patterns, you may be required to work an additional 30 minutes per week temporarily. All employees must confirm their eligibility to work in the United Kingdom if they are not nationals.
