Your Mission

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Supervisor to oversee the financial and tax compliance operations of ecoligo's subsidiaries across Central America, including Costa Rica, Panama, and Chile. This role will be based in Santiago de Chile and will focus on enhancing and streamlining our accounting processes. Your exceptional organizational skills will be crucial in managing the diverse accounting requirements of our American entities, navigating complex tax regulations across different jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise external accountants and tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate financial records and regulatory tax submissions.
  • Oversee the classification and recording of ongoing business transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and maintain accurate accounting practices, including payroll taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate taxes.
  • Coordinate the year-end financial closing and annual corporate tax submissions in collaboration with external advisors.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing and revenue collection for assigned regions.
  • Handle Accounts Payable functions, ensuring timely processing of supplier invoices and payment coordination with the treasury team.
  • Interpret and implement legislative and regulatory changes, adjusting processes as necessary.
  • Continuously seek improvements in accounting processes and contribute to the digital transformation of our operations.
  • Provide additional reporting as required for both internal and external stakeholders.

Your Profile

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of accounting standards and practices, including IFRS.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in an international environment with multiple entities and intercompany transactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a preference for experience in data visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Familiarity with the invoicing process in Sistema de Facturación Gratuito Del SII (Chilean ID required).
