Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting Guests: Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, using a positive and clear speaking voice.
  • Registration Process: Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent details, and promoting HEI Hotels and Resorts brand marketing programs.
  • Room Assignment: Make appropriate selections of rooms based on guest needs, code electronic keys, and non-verbally confirm room numbers and rates.
  • Cash Handling: Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank.
  • Telephone Etiquette: Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication, input messages into the computer, retrieve messages, and communicate their content to guests.
  • Account Closure: Close guest accounts at time of check-out, ascertain satisfaction, and negotiate compromises when necessary.
  • Conflict Resolution: Field guest complaints, conduct thorough research, develop effective solutions, and negotiate results.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required; college degree preferred.
  • Hotel Experience: Preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information, and resolve conflicts.
  • Computer Skills: Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and move throughout the front office, continuously performing essential job functions.
