We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Omnichannel Marketing Strategy to join our team at adidas. As a key member of our Marketing & Communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing omnichannel marketing plans that drive business growth and consumer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Omnichannel Marketing Plans: Lead the development and implementation of omnichannel marketing strategies that align with our company's overall business objectives.
  • Account Marketing: Collaborate with country sales teams to develop account marketing plans that drive maximum sell-in, sell-out, and consumer impact.
  • Consumer Experience: Drive an exciting consumer experience online and offline, ensuring that our brand is consistently presented in a compelling and engaging manner.
  • Trade Zone Strategy: Lead the execution of key city trade zone attacks to position adidas as the most desirable and present brand in key trade zones.
  • Team Development: Develop and coach delegates to build a high-performing team that is equipped to drive business results.
  • Investment Planning: Own the country wholesale shop-in-shop investment plan and CAPEX investment to maximize consumer impact and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Marketing Budget Management: Manage the country omnichannel marketing working budget to ensure effective investment decisions.
Key Relationships
  • Local Brand and Marketing Teams: Collaborate with local brand and marketing teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies.
  • Local Sales and Channel Distribution Teams: Work closely with local sales and channel distribution teams to drive business growth and consumer engagement.
  • Regional Teams: Collaborate with regional teams to ensure effective execution of marketing strategies and drive business results.
Requirements
  • Strategic Thinking: Must be a strategic thinker with confidence and speed in execution.
  • Coaching Leadership Style: Strong coaching leadership style providing guidance, support, and feedback through active listening, emotional intelligence, and mentorship.
  • Business Acumen: Acute sense of business bringing financial literacy, strategic thinking, market awareness, and operational insight.
  • Customer Focus: Strong and dedicated understanding towards the customers' needs.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in a related field.
  • Commercial and Marketing Experience: +10 years' commercial and marketing roles leading channels and/or categories strategies and execution plans in both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce.
  • Team Leadership Experience: +5 years' experience leading and managing teams like sales teams, trade marketing teams, or similar.
  • Marketing Budget Management: Previous experience managing marketing working budgets and sales forecasting.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of sales-driven results demonstrating consistent achievement of sales targets, growth in revenue, and successful implementation of point-of-sale strategies.
  • Communication and Relationship Management: Strong communications skills and relationship management leading and negotiating with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, B2B clients, among others.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to work in an English-speaking environment on a daily basis.
