**About the role**

We are offering a geology student vacation internship as part of the Rio Tinto Exploration Chile. This opportunity will allow you to be involved in activities such as mapping, sampling, drilling and data collection. The work will contribute to one or more of our current exploration projects in Chile and run from approximately December till March.

**What you’ll bring**
- At least two years completed in Geology/Geosciencesstudies with demonstrated time in the field
- Eagerness to learn new skills and ideas with curiosity to ask questions
- Flexibility and autonomy with willingness to join in and help across the projectwhere required
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a small or large team
- Valid driving licenseheld for minimum of one year - No need for your own vehicle
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Only students returning to school post internship will be considered.
