**About the Role**:
Value Engineering (VE) de BHP es un equipo de reciente creación, que es la unión de un grupo dedicado e innovador enfocado en maximizar las oportunidades de valor añadido a través de BHP aprovechando las habilidades de la Función Técnica para ofrecer soluciones incrementales, de cambio de paso e innovadoras.

Reportando al Manager de Value Analytics para Minerals America, liderarás un equipo de entusiastas profesionales en ciencia de datos ayudándoles a realizar proyectos de mejora de rendimiento que se centran en maximizar las oportunidades de valor y el rendimiento en toda la cadena de valor, a través de la aplicación técnicas de analytics, experiência operativa y de ingeniería. Trabajarás en colaboración con el departamento de operaciones, expertos en la materia, especialistas en análisis de datos y otros miembros del equipo de VE.

La localización del trabajo es en Santiago de Lunes a Viernes. Existen opciones de trabajo flexible.

**Labores**:

- Dirigir un equipo de científicos de datos y analistas de datos.- Serás mentor de tu equipo para ayudarles a aumentar sus conocimientos y habilidades.
- Establecer relaciones de trabajo con la comunidad de datos de BHP.
- Identificar los requisitos del negocio para abordar problemas de los Stakeholders.
- Ser responsable de entregar proyectos de análisis y proporcionar liderazgo técnico.
- Explicar y presentar soluciones de análisis a Stakeholders, tanto técnicos como de negocios.

- Experiência comprobada de liderazgo de equipos en un entorno profesional. Sólidas habilidades interpersonales y capacidad para motivar y desarrollar a los miembros de su equipo.- Sólidas dotes de presentación y comunicación. Capacidad para influir en las partes interesadas dentro de diferentes áreas de especialización.
- Experiência en la orientación y mentoría de especialistas en ciencia de datos. Puede proporcionar liderazgo técnico a su equipo para ayudar a resolver problemas y agilizar el análisis.
- Experiência ofreciendo soluciones de mejora del rendimiento para problemas empresariales. Esto incluye la aplicación de análisis de datos, análisis estadístico y técnicas de Machine Learning para generar valor empresarial, manteniendo al mismo tiempo un enfoque práctico y estratégico.
- Experiência en gestión de proyectos. Esto incluye la definición del alcance, la planificación y la entrega utilizando un enfoque disciplinado para alcanzar los objetivos del proyecto.
- Conocimiento de las herramientas y enfoques de análisis estándar del sector. Esto incluye plataformas de datos, lenguajes de programación y tecnologías de análisis de datos.
