Our Marketing & Communications Group in Chile is growing and looking for an **Global Content Writer, **to join their team in Santiago This position will be responsible for writing engaging content for various channels to generate awareness of how GHD is making water, energy and communities sustainable for generations to come.

**Specific responsibilities in this role will include**:

- Support the development and refinement of an annual content strategy for GHD’s strategic growth initiatives (water, energy, communities, and ESG) across channels and help achieve the optimal storytelling approach to increase audience engagement.
- Write and edit clear, engaging content pieces across formats including print, online, interactive, infographics, podcasts, webinars, and videos intended to educate, inform, and inspire GHD’s audience — especially clients and prospective clients — on the following areas: climate action, water security, ESG, sustainability and resilience.
- Support research and develop topics connected to GHD’s service lines to showcase our sustainability expertise and leadership in innovation.
- Help ensure each content project is clear and compelling that the story flows logically and ensures reader/viewer/listener engagement from start to finish, the ideas are well-differentiated and communicated accurately and directly, the phrasing is dynamic and conversational so that the overall content project will be perceived by target audiences as high-quality and high value.
- Follow GHD’s guidelines on language usage, writing style, storytelling, and content production processes.
- Partner with regional marketing teams to build and produce content for their local market, clients, and business development teams.
- Support content objectives, success metrics and prioritization of initiatives to maximize business impact, often expressed in revenue growth and investment returns.

**Successful skills & qualifications**:

- 2+ years of writing experience in at least one of these areas: Business journalism - B2B content marketing - Corporate communications.
- Exceptional written and oral communication in English language.
- Experience in writing and publishing content on complex technical material in diverse formats, from engaging short-form web copy to developmentally editing long-form content on complex topics.
- Bachelor’s degree required.

**Desirable skills & qualifications**:

- Experience with corporate sustainability across climate action, water security, resilience and the built environment highly.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, environmental engineering, environmental science or a related technical field.
