**The Position**

As the Diabetes Business Unit Director, you will build and lead the identification, development and implementation of business opportunities that enable Novo Nordisk to expand leadership in Diabetes business with emphasis on maximising investment. You will manage the implementation of the designed strategies for the products and ensure all activities the country comply with local acts, legal demands and ethical standards.

This role will also be responsible for:

- Lead the Diabetes unit in defining the long-term strategy and vision for Diabetes
- Collaborating with the Global and Regional teams ensuring collaborative development of marketing strategies and campaigns with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Commercial Affairs.
- Establishing a network throughout KOL´s by interacting and engaging with HCPs building long term relationships to generate a sustainable business

As a people manager, you will maintain employee engagement through performance management, coaching and talent development.

**Qualifications**
- You have a university degree in business management or other relevant areas.
- You have experience at least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Chile and/or other countries in Latin America, including in similar leadership position and proven experience in product and salesforce management
- Strong organizational and people management skills are also required.
- You have a competitive mindset and able to work as a team and collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals.
- This position also requires excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

As the Diabetes Business Unit Director, you will be a member of the Leadership Team of the affiliate reporting into the VP & GM of Novo Nordisk Chile. You will lead a team of 20 people in sales and marketing.
