Shopic is an AI start-up specializing in retail solutions and shopping experiences. Our technology turns any shopping cart into a smart cart. Powered by computer vision and data analytics, the cart lets shoppers grab the products they want and skip the checkout lines when they leave the store.

We are based in Tel Aviv, deployed by major grocery chains worldwide, and employ some of the best minds in the AI sector. We are looking for a new member to join our team, to oversee our store operations at a customer site in the Santiago area, Chile.

Working at a global retailer store, the Store Operations Manager will support a cutting-edge technological solution and be the focal point of contact.

The Store Operations Manager will lead the on-site operational team and provide training and support. Work will consist of conducting day-to-day operations to meet sales and operational targets, provide technical support, train staff, and provide feedback from on-site issues to the Shopic various teams.

The job is project-based, meaning that the location will be determined according to the project. The first project will be in Santiago Chile and could develop to international projects requiring up to three months’ stay abroad at a time.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years managing on-site operations experience (managing a store, a restaurant, or a service center etc)
- Strong sales orientation, experience in managing sales targets
- Resourceful, out-of-the-box thinker and problem solver
- Technical orientation and the ability to learn how to troubleshoot on a basic level
- Passion for service
- Self-motivated and able to lead an operation independently, presenting good judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment under pressure
- Proven experience in leading a team, knowing how to train and motivate the team members
- Willingness for long-stay international travel

Responsabilities:

- Manage, lead, train and support an operational team
- Meet sales and operational targets
- Monitor shopper utilization and needs, escalate issues to relevant teams at Shopic
- Be a Shopic ambassador at the store, advocate our product among retail employees and consumers
- Maintain equipment stability and manage its storage
- Create and promote procedures and best practices for operational processes
- Provide on-site support and assistance
