We are currently seeking a Shop Floor Controller who will be responsible for the operations management of the process departments.

As the Shop Floor Controller in addition to being tasked with the planning and execution of the production schedule, you will also supervise a team of operators across multiple shifts. As an integral part of the Production team you will ensure all responsible areas adhere to budget while ensuring safety, on-time-performance and quality goals are met. You will also drive continuous improvement programs to ensure the business remains agile and competitive for our customers. This position will play critical role in the strategic initiative to improve the design and configuration of microencapsulation, in support of improved GMPs and microbial risk to business.

**Job Requirements**:
**You will spend your time**:

- Contribute to the growth, profitability and enhancement of the business by supervising the shop floor activities of the microencapsulation and PolyIFF process departments, ensuring all safety, quality, on-time-performance, cost control and continuous improvement targets are met.
- Contribute to the enhanced safety, quality, and productivity of the process department by planning and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing activities.
- Work closely with local and global process engineering to ensure optimized process flow and quality products are manufactured in the microencapsulation department.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and excellent communication with IFF's customer service representatives and commercial teams.
- Perform administrative functions in support of IFF policies and I.S.O. standards.

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor Degree
- Strong focus on safety; solid experience in risk management programs.
- Demonstrated customer focus skills

**Preferred Skills**
- Project Management Professional (PMP)

**Required Experience**
- 3 to 5 years of front-line leadership experience (teaching, coaching, mentoring direct reports)
- 3-5 years operations management experience in a process based environment.
- Experience in new product development
- Experience with quality management programs.
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office© and manufacturing inventory/production software (Prefer SAP©).
