Procurement / Expeditor Associate

Working within a project team environment, potentially on multiple projects.

- Proactively performing expediting activities to ensure the delivery of equipment, materials, services, and related documentation.

- Developing and maintaining status reports.

- Attending and potentially managing purchase order kick-off meetings.

- Attending local expediting visits, as required.

- Closing purchase orders.

- Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues affecting a purchase order.

- Reviewing material and service invoices for accuracy.

- Coordinating transportation and logistics, as required.

- Performing other duties as requested

- Leading purchase order kick-off meetings

- Expediting purchase orders, as required

- Initiating the close-out of purchase orders

- Communicating with suppliers to resolve issues affecting a purchase order.

- Attending status meetings with clients, project management and suppliers.

- Mentoring, supporting and guiding staff.

- Assisting the procurement lead in the development or improvement of corporate work processes and procedures.

- Performing other duties as requested by the company.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement.
- Strong understanding of business processes.
