**Description**

BBA is looking for a Intermediate Mechanical Piping Designer to be part of the discipline in the development of engineering projects for the mining, energy, and manufacturing industries. Its main tasks include the design and 2D and 3D modeling of the engineering solutions defined by the project team, coordinating the designs with the rest of the disciplines. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of services and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external clients.

**What is expected of you at BBA**:

- ** **Serve as a key team member of the discipline for small to major brownfield and greenfield mining projects.
- Generate the designs of the discipline according to the solutions projected with the team
- Generate 3D models and generation of 2D drawings of the developed designs
- Design and generate Layout of plants and piping system
- Coordinate the design with other disciplines of the projects
- Integrate 2D and 3D models with the designs of other disciplines.
- Produce and supervise the generation of 2D plans (dimensions, designs, texts, and notes).
- In collaboration with engineering teams, generate innovative solutions to any challenges
- Perform simple calculations, if necessary
- Ensure BBA work procedures are followed
- Work collaboratively with the BBA design team in Canada.

**Requirements and specific knowledge**
- At least 10 years of experience in project development
- Experience in engineering projects (mining, petrochemical, energy)
- Advanced knowledge of design software: Cadworxs, SmartPlant 3D, AutoCad, AutoCad Plant 3D, Navisworks Manage, among others.
- Knowledge of “Piping Spec” management for design software and general configurations is desirable.
- Knowledge of mechanical design
- Knowledge of piping system design (including P&ID and isometric generation)
- Knowledge of BIM methodology
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of design standards DIN, ANSI, ASME, API, AWWA, NFPA, ISA, among others
- Availability for occasional field visits
- English language proficiency (intermediate)

BBA se encuentra en búsqueda de un Proyectista Mecánico Piping intermedio para ser parte de la disciplina en el desarrollo de proyectos de ingeniería para la industria minera, energía y manufactura. Sus tareas principales incluirán el diseño y modelado 2D y 3D de las soluciones de ingeniería definidas por el equipo de proyecto, coordinando los diseños con el resto de las disciplinas. Además, será responsable velar por la calidad de los servicios y mantener relaciones positivas con los clientes internos y externos.

**Lo que se espera de Ud. en BBA**:

- Ser miembro clave de la disciplina en el desarrollo de los proyectos
- Generar los diseños de la disciplina de acuerdo con las soluciones proyectadas con el equipo
- Generar modelos 3D y generación de planos 2D de los diseños desarrollados
- Coordinar el diseño de los equipos con otras disciplinas
- Diseñar y generar Layout de plantas y sistemas de piping
- Integrar los modelos 2D y 3D con los diseños de las otras disciplinas
- Participar en la tutoría de equipos e individuos.
- Producir y supervisar la generación de planos 2D (acotado, diseños, textos y notas).
- En colaboración con los equipos de ingeniería, generar soluciones innovadoras a cualquier desafío encontrado.
- Realice cálculos simples, cuando sea necesario.
- Asegúrese de que se sigan los procedimientos de trabajo de BBA.
- Trabajar colaborativamente con el equipó de diseño de BBA en Canadá.

**Requerimientos y conocimiento específico**
- Al menos 10 años de experiência en desarrollo de proyectos
- Experiência en el área de proyectos de ingeniería (minería, petroquímica, energía, etc.)
- Dominio avanzado de los softwares de diseño: Cadworxs, SmartPlant 3D, AutoCad, AutoCad Plant 3D, Navisworks Manage, entre otros.
- Deseable conocimiento en manejo de “Piping Spec” para los softwares de diseño y configuraciones generales
- Conocimiento en diseño mecánico
- Conocimiento en diseño de sistemas de piping (incluyendo generación de P&ID e isométricos)
- Conocimiento de metodología BIM
- Conocimiento de MS Office
- Conocimiento de normas de diseño DIN, ANSI, ASME, API, AWWA, NFPA,
