Responsible for the bidding process for field services such as maintenance, start up and commissioning, Machinery Safety TUV Services, Asset optimization contracts and Remote support contracts.
This rol lead the bidding process from initial contact through contract signing, with particular emphasis on establishing the technical solution, financial analysis, terms & conditions, cash flow trading terms.
The proposal consultant works together with the solution consultant and sales team to generate and activate the bidding strategy on each opportunity to win and win projects.
**Responsibilities**:
Develops & create proposal documents for automation solutions.
Evaluates customer RFQ’s to create advantageous position for Rockwell Automation
Discovers and understands customer's primary business goals, operations, challenges and requirements.
Aligns and applies entire scope of Rockwell products, solutions and services to meet the customer's business needs.
Executes request for approvals on bids in accordance with established approval process
Works closely with partners to obtain competitive pricing by 3rd party suppliers.
Manages complex bid/proposals
Skills, Knowledge, Experience And Education
1+ years of experience in a large industrial systems and automation solutions delivery business.
Bachelor´s degree (or higher) in Engineering (Electronics engineering or related)
Experience (Optional) in Projects execution and Project management knowledge
Previous experience as proposal engineer / proposal consultant / commercial experience within automation jobs is desired
