Responsible for leading and executing on Latin American investment strategy, including sourcing acquisitions, leading the acquisition due diligence efforts and leading acquisition closing followed by oversight of ongoing operations in Latin America.

The following outlines the primary functions of the role:

- Drive Latin American growth by leading the development of a Latin American strategy, with specific ownership for a network of relationships in the region and for the development of an acquisition pipeline in Latin America.
- Lead acquisition due diligence efforts from sourcing through closing, in coordination with the CG acquisitions team, for all potential investments in Latin America.
- Once established, oversee all investments in Latin America, driving investment performance in the region
- Source, engage and provide oversight for property managers in the region
- Leads regional ESG strategy and development, consistent with CG values
- Performs outreach to potential regional investors and partners; and
- Assist Business Development with fundraising efforts and client outreach as needed.

It is expected that this position will contribute firsthand knowledge of the timberland markets in Latin America with a perspective that enables Campbell Global ("CG") to develop and maintain a transaction pipeline to accomplish the company's strategic goals. This individual is responsible for driving the transaction process, to include actively participating in due diligence and coordinating with internal and external resources.

This position will oversee investments once acquired, including developing and implementing business plans and annual operating budgets and working closely with third-party property managers and other service providers to ensure all client expectations are met.

Keys to success will be through a combination of self-initiative, building productive working relationships, driving creativity and innovation into the deal valuation process, and employing effective project management skills in a way that provides TCG a competitive advantage in the timberland markets.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develops strategies and tactics to enhance CG's competitiveness to acquire timberland, including tracking transaction information on comparable properties and developing a detailed understanding of competitors
- Leads the outreach and development of strategic relationships with landowners, advisors, consultants, and service providers in a way that (1) enhances CG's reputation as a buyer and manager of timberland properties and (2) develops and maintains a network of contacts to gather market intelligence, discern market activities, and identify and act on acquisition opportunities
- Investigates potential investment-grade acquisitions and completes competitive market analysis based on local market fundamentals
- Leads the acquisition process, including managing the collection and analysis of due diligence information, compiles due diligence materials and leads the development of Investment Committee materials used for investment decisions in the region.
- Provide detailed inputs into acquisition models including market pricing of timberland and timberland products, leading acquisition negotiations and the closing/settlement process
- Actively participates within the organization to ensure all investment services meet or exceed client commitments
- Leads the development and implementation of management plans and operating budgets
- Coordinates and oversees third-party property managers, including the review, approval, and supervision of management recommendations from property managers and activities related to the management of properties
- Works closely with CG's Price Forecast Team, providing data to inform market analysis and log price inputs for acquisitions and budgets, actively participates on CG's Latin American price forecast team.
- Reviews, processes, and approves invoices associated with the investments, including those that originate from in-country service providers, such as third-party property managers and accounting firms
- Provides oversight of and ensures full participation in the most appropriate forest certification program
- Identifies and implements ways to increase financial returns from properties
- Ensures that environmental or financial risk management reporting is conducted in a timely and professional manner to Supervisor and, if appropriate, local Safety Coordinator.
- Responds to internal and external information requests in conjunction with management and team members.
- Represents Campbell Global at all levels, demonstrate positive professional behavior and positive public relations at all times.

**QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION**:

- Bachelor of Science in forestry or related field from an accredited university
- Extensive experience in the forest industry across all geographies in the region
