Introduction

We are seeking a Tactical Sourcing Specialist to join our Americas Tactical Sourcing team. You will be responsible of support several product lines to ensure we obtain best possible conditions for the material required.

What you’ll do

Prepare request for quotations (RFQ) to send to suppliers in the Jaggaer system.
Ensure to closely follow up supplier response to RFQ to meet targeted Turn around Times.
Based on screening, prioritize preferred suppliers and ensure to understand supplier’s capacity and capabilities well.
Make decisive decisions when selecting suppliers based on Price, Leadtime and other key factors.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the team when required.
Maintain Purchase Info Record and Material Mater data in SAP.
Collaborate with global quotations support in the platform of Salesforce.

Who you are

Applicant must speak and read English (mandatory)
Relevant bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related careers.
Your ability to read drawings and understand mechanical aspects will be an asset.
An understanding of the Crushing business line or similar would be a very strong asset.
You have a strong proficiency with Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
You have excellent customer service skills and independence (can freely call suppliers without close supervision).
You can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills as well as being a team player ready to support your colleagues.
You have strong organizational skills and can prioritize and work independently.
You have strong attention to detail and can meet deadlines, multitask and balance various assignments.
You have SAP experience (preferred).
You have Salesforce experience (preferred)
