Robert Half is seeking an ambitious, versatile, and talented Business Systems Analyst III to act in one or more of the following roles.
Client IT Liaison (primary)
Act as a highly visible liaison between Robert Half IT, Protiviti customers, Protiviti Legal, and Protiviti management involved in leading engagement teams. The Analyst must develop a broad and detailed understanding of IT security controls for systems containing client-provided data, as well as all RH and Protiviti Information Security policies. Recognize and report on changing regulatory, customer, or Protiviti needs that impact IT. Perform detailed analysis of customer contracts and RFP requirements that have either direct or indirect IT impacts, and be highly responsive to customer Information Security questionnaire requests and drive their completion to rapid closure. The Analyst will be called upon to provide professional, concise summaries of IT capabilities as needed to support Protiviti sales efforts. They must also represent IT security capabilities in the best possible light to Senior Management, Management, Legal, and IT security of multi-million dollar Protiviti customers.
A qualified individual will also be able to explain to external IT Security professionals and vendor assessment personnel, in a professional and politic manner, why their security requirements are unnecessary or inappropriate given the scope of services provided by Protiviti, compensating IT security controls, changing industry standards, or impracticality of implementation.
Special IT Projects (as needed)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, other technical training in technology, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of business and IT functional area experience.
- Proficient in the use of common MS Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with, or knowledge of, one or more common security standards / frameworks such as ISO 27001, HITRUST, NIST is a bonus
Understanding of IT foundational concepts, including basics of network security, common endpoint security controls, authentication, incident response, disaster recovery, and security policies for users.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Ability to communicate business process to technical resources.
- Ability to create complex process flow diagrams or system architecture diagrams.
- Ability to gather requirements effectively; document requirements and confirm observations with business owners and technical staff.
- Ability to perform gap analysis based on requirements.
- Ability to create detailed and thorough test plans for medium-sized initiatives.
- Ability to develop a project plan, meeting established deliverables and timelines.
- Ability to conduct meetings, gather information and present status.
- Experience reading / reviewing contracts is a plus.
