Alumni in the mechanical packaging group can be found throughout our organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to, risk of electrical shock, noise, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

**What You Will Do In Your Role**:

- Avoids down-time and reacts with urgency to any problems that arise
- Performs machine changeovers as required
- Changes and repairs motors, chains and gears when required
- Communicates with Customer machine operators and supervisor
- Provides service to external customers, with a focus on providing a positive customer experience
- Performs other duties and assists others on the team as needed
- Checks to make sure all guards are in place and are working properly
- Lubricates and maintains set up machines according to maintenance schedule
- Performs all other Preventive Maintenance according to schedule
- Completes work orders as the work is completed.
- Uses computer for record keeping
- Attends and participates in Team safety meetings and other training
- Understands the safety requirements that pertain to the job
- Follows the hazardous materials safety procedures when choosing/mixing cleaning solutions
- Ensures that all personnel working/passing around their equipment does so in a safe manner
- Maintaining a team-oriented work environment and flexible to support the team as needed

**Requirements**:

- Hands on mechanical experience and/or early career mechanical or electrical trade school/educational knowledge
- Able and willing to work flexible hours as our customers have 24/7 operations
- Valid US Driver’s License with good DMV record
- Able and willing to travel by air if needed, and able to have or obtain a US passport

**What Will Put You Ahead**:

- Ability to troubleshoot to find solutions to problems
- Understands PLC's, air compressors and pneumatics
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
