**Proyectos ITOps**
El equipo de Redes de ITOPS proporcionará una nueva infraestructura de red para el Centro de Datos Base y el Centro de Datos Gemini South. Ofrecemos toda la conectividad actual y futura para toda la infraestructura de NOIRLab en Chile, Hawaii y Tucson.
**Proyecto 1**
**_ Network Upgrade Project to MSO and GS - NOIRLab La Serena Chile. _**
**Lugar de Trabajo**:Recinto La Serena | Cerro Pachón | Cerro Tololo
**Objetivo**:Este es el primer proyecto dentro de NOIRLab que se implementará durante el año 2025. A su vez, este proyecto cuenta con proyección ya que está siendo planificado para los centros de Tucson, Arizona y Hawaii. El objetivo principal es implementar un prototipo de herramienta de automatización de Red para mejorar el despliegue básico y complejo en la nueva infraestructura de Red.

- Conocimiento Avanzado en Python (Excluyente).
- Conocimientos en redes y Ansible.

**Proyecto 2**
**_ NOIRLab Network Upgrade Project _**
**Lugar de Trabajo**:Recinto La Serena | Cerro Pachón | Cerro Tololo
**Objetivo**:El Proyecto de Actualización de la Red de NOIRLab es el principal proyecto en curso en La Serena. Además de estos proyectos, contamos con un grupo importante de tareas relacionadas con la infraestructura de red heredada de NOIRLab que requiere esfuerzo para mejorar algunos de esos despliegues. De este modo, uno de los principales objetivos de esta Práctica Profesional es la revisión completa del despliegue actual de la red para equipos heredados en la Base y en las instalaciones del Observatorio (the Summit). Asimismo, es importante dedicarse a mejorar el despliegue de la red utilizando las mejores prácticas y colaborar con los demás pasantes para avanzar en el proyecto de integración y automatización.

Se aceptarán postulaciones hasta el día **03 de noviembre de 2024**. Luego, comenzarán las entrevistas técnicas con jefaturas a partir del día **18 de Noviembre de 2024.**

- **Carta o Certificado emitido por su Casa de Estudios**: Dicho documento debe contener la siguiente información:
- Debe indicar que la persona es alumno o alumna regular de la institución.
- Debe indicar que la persona requiere -de acuerdo con su malla curricular
- o se encuentra habilitado/a para desarrollar el proceso de práctica profesional.
- El documento debe contener la cantidad de horas de Práctica que requiere.
- Debe especificar que el/la alumno/a regular se encuentra cubierto por el Seguro Escolar de la Ley de Accidentes del Trabajo de Chile durante todo el periodo de duración de la Práctica Profesional.
- Adjuntar **Cover Letter** donde indiquen su motivación por desarrollar su práctica profesional en AURA y el área específica a la que se encuentran postulando.
- Las postulaciones en el área Ingeniería deben indicar en la información de Cover Letter, cuál (o cuáles) son los proyectos en los cuales le gustaría desarrollar esta Práctica Profesional.
Adjuntar **Certificado de Notas**, los requisitos en relación con los promedios son los siguientes:
- **Estudiantes de Enseñanza Media Técnico Profesional**: Deben tener un promedio igual o superior a 5.5.
- **Estudiantes de Carreras Técnico Profesionales**:Deben tener un promedio igual o superior a 5.2.
- **Estudiantes Universitarios**: Deben contar con un promedio igual o superior a 5.0.
