PPD is currently recruiting for entry level Clinical Research Associate (CRA) positions. This opportunity will be suitable for **Site Study Coordinator** and **Research Nurses** looking to make a career move into the CRA position.

The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) performs and coordinates all aspects of the clinical monitoring and site management process in accordance with ICH Good Clinical Practices, FDA guidelines, local regulations and PPD Standard Operating Procedures.

The CRA conducts site visits to assess protocol and regulatory compliance and manages required documentation. Responsible for ensuring that data will pass international quality assurance audits. Develops collaborative relationships with investigational sites. Required to travel 50% on average.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in a science related field or a Registered Nursing certification
- Study Coordinator experience or mínimal clinical monitoring experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. In some cases previous experience (comparable to 2 years) in a clinical environment where experience is gained in clinical trials, medical terminology, medical research, clinical research or health care OR experience in a health sciences field with formal training in medical terminology and anatomy may be considered
- Valid Driver's License.

- Basic medical/therapeutic area knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to attain and maintain a working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and applicable Standard Operating Procedures
- Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with medical personnel

- Good computer skills: good knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn appropriate software

These are full time, permanent positions, and are home based either in:
PPD Australia Pty Ltd requires new employees who are in office based or site facing roles to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to their first working day with PPD Australia Pty Ltd. Office based means employees attending our Melbourne office, whether on a fixed or flexible schedule. Site facing roles means employees in a role that requires attendance at investigator sites as part of their role; Clinical Trial Coordinator, Remote Site Monitor, Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Manager. Employees attending client sites may also need to show evidence of COVID-19 vaccination to gain access to client facilities, depending on the client’s policy.
