- About the Role**Purpose of the Role**
- To provide coordination and support in capital medium and large projects related with Tailings. Will be working closely with the Manager Project Engineering, Engineering Team and Project/Study Manager of projects in phases IPS, SPS, DPS and EXE to provide discipline engineering expertise and to coordinate discipline engineering resources deployed into a study team for the development of discipline engineering.**Main Functions and Accountabilities**:

- Strongly aimed to a safety focus.
- Coordinates the development of project discipline engineering strategy, standards, processes, systems and plans for a project\program of capital projects.- Monitors the development of the discipline engineering deliverables so that schedule slippage can be monitored, and the effects minimized.
- Leads, coaches and mentors team members to ensure delivery against performance targets.
- Capture lessons learnt from development & delivery of Capital Project for incorporation into continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborates with the Manager Project Engineering to provide technical expertise to support the project’s integrated scope, cost & schedule requirements
- Leads the document preparation for engineering tender process.
- Coordinates execution of risk and quality management plans to assure effective of management the project’s discipline engineering scope of work.
- Identifies and implements improvement initiatives, including programmatic opportunities for increased capital efficiency and productivity in the sub-function.
- Provides Discipline Engineering input to value improvement practices.
- Monitors adoption of Operation’s technical and discipline engineering standards into the program scope.
- Collaborates to create new technical and discipline engineering standards where required for the delivery of the program scope of work.- About You- Civil Engineer, entitled.- Minimum 15 years’ experience in mining projects.
- Knowledge and experience with contractor’s tender process, experience in cost estimate, execution plans and scheduling of medium and large mining projects related with Tailings.
- Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office.
- Spoken and written English
