**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Administrative Support**:
- Manage and coordinate appointments, schedules, and calendars for healthcare providers.
- Process and manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with billing, coding, and insurance claims processing.
- **Clinical Support**:
- Conduct patient intake interviews and document medical histories.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Provide patients with pre
- and post-appointment instructions.
- Assist in telemedicine consultations, including preparing and organizing necessary documentation.
- **Communication**:
- Liaise with laboratories, pharmacies, and other healthcare facilities to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure clear and accurate communication of medical information to patients and providers.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and input data into electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- **Customer Service**:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Educate patients on healthcare procedures, treatments, and available resources.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and gather feedback to improve services.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar credential is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical billing software.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
