Early Childhood Educator/ Teacher: Kindergarten

**Who are we looking for?**

**What are our requirements?**
- An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification (a Bachelor of Education is highly desired)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a childcare setting or providing care to young children
- Able to physically assist children as required (i.e. lifting)
- Able to stand/walk for extended periods and move/carry equipment for programs
- Proficient in English
- Able to communicate with children, parents and staff in a sensitive, courteous, confidential manner
- Must be able to provide a clear criminal record check for every country lived in after the age of 18
- Professional references and character references will be required

**Key tasks and responsibilities**:

- Genuinely care for the emotional, social, and cognitive needs of every child
- Clean childcare centre
- Assist other caregiver(s) with duties including recycling, shopping, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with other caregiver(s) on a regular basis
- Follow safety standards
- Maintain confidentiality of all information related to children, families, and the centre.

**What do we offer?**

We offer competitive remuneration and visa assistance for the purpose of living and working in Canada. Once in Canada, the successful applicant will be supported in certifying as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) in the province of British Columbia. Certified ECEs have an earning potential of CAD 24-27 per hour.
