**Job summary/Role description**
- Assigned to a project, the Electrical Engineer is in charge of producing documents and deliverables assigned to them by the Project Leader /Specialist/Group Leader guaranteeing the quality, the assigned budget and time.
- The Engineer reports to the Project Leader, a Specialist or a Group Leader for the peculiarities of the project and to the Head of Department for man-hours and quality of the deliverables.
- According to the expertise and experience they are appointed to tasks with different technical complexity and requiring different levels of skill; they may coordinate other engineers and/or draftsmen.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To guarantee the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions;
- To attend to technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Maire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques;
- To keep himself up-to-date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline;
- To develop the specifications and data sheet of electrical switchgear, plant equipment and materials,
- including the technical characteristic of their subsystems and components and, according to his/her skills, to perform sizing and verification calculations;
- To check and approve vendors' documents.
- To secure assistance, if any, during testing and start-up.
- To acquire and improve his knowledge and use of CAE tools.

**Person Specification**

**Knowledge & Qualifications**
- University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent

**Experience**
- Experience using Microsoft Windows office package
- Knowledge in Microsoft excel
- Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of industrial/Petrochemical sector/EPC projects large plants;
- At least 3 years of experience in the specific discipline.

**Skills and Abilities**
- English not required but is a plus;
- Excellent IT and analytical skills;
- Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills;
- Attention to details;
- Self-motivation and direction, with a strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
