HumanForest is London's only truly green shared eBike company (B-Corp accredited). We bridge the gap between affordability and sustainability, using our advertising revenue to offer all users 10 minutes free cycling daily on our truly green eBikes.
We have just raised a Series A funding round to double our fleet size in London, continue investing in our digital marketing proprietary tech, and start our international expansion plans. **Job functions**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in backend development. Past experience working on SaaS or advertising platforms is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Go web frameworks like Go Chi, Echo, or Gin.
- Strong knowledge of API design principles, versioning, and best practices.
- Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with Auth0 and JSON Web Tokens for authentication and authorization.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Fluent in English to communicate effectively with the UK team.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with messaging and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and practices.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Experience working with Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CDN best practices and experience in implementing them.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools like Linear, Jira, Trello, or Asana.
