**Position Summary**
**Responsibilities**
The Process Engineer is principally responsible for:
- Serve as consultant to clients and/or internally to project and specialty engineering or scientific groups providing advice and counsel on special and unique assignments.
- Review process engineering or scientific concepts, studies, drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Interface with client personnel to determine their needs, develop the scope for studies and cost estimates for service and participate in proposal preparation and presentation.
- Provide guidance and direction to engineering personnel in the development of advanced design criteria and specifications.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of drawings, design concepts, process sheets, procedures, and concepts.
- Perform other duties as required by Bechtel management.
- Present technical information at industry forums and internal technical meetings.
**Qualifications and Skills**
**Basic Qualifications**
The Process Engineer shall be knowledgeable and/or experienced in:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university as well as 15+ years of work experience relevant to the industry sector for which the CCoE serves 5+ years working in an operating mineral processing facility.
- The Comminution Process Specialist will document relevant aspects of his activities and keep up-to-date project, operational, technology information in the CCoE folder.
- Applicants are expected to have 15 years or more of relevant experience in projects and operations of Mineral Processing Plants, including crushing and grinding areas
**Additional Qualifications**
- Commissioning experience and plant ramp-up of a comminution circuit.
- Process software simulation tool knowledge including JKSimMET, Bruno, and others.
- Understanding of industrial and regulatory standards and design criteria in the engineering or scientific discipline.
- Knowledge of sector-related design and execution practices and cost influences involved.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
