**About the role**:
**This position has primary responsibility for maintaining detailed costs and providing cost analysis support to operations and sales. In addition, this person will be responsible for assessing business expenses and preparing optimized budget plans. This position is a team player to finance, operations and departments and will be working closely with operations to collect and analyze the company's operations costs.**:
**Your Impact as Senior Cost Accountant**:

- Manage our standard cost price system.
- Implement cost standards for materials and labor.
- Manage the cost of goods sold and production reports.
- Analyze production costs and recommend cost savings.
- Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
- Reconcile beginning raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods stock.
- Oversee annual physical inventory.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.
- Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect the prices and profitability of products or services.
- Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.
- Manage fixed asset process (i.e., monthly reconciliation, capitalizing projects when completed, periodic reviews of spending with cost center owners for NAM region, forecasting spending for monthly reporting).
- Month-end close entries and variance analysis, including operational costs, fixed assets; analysis of operations, and administration spending).
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**About You**:
**Essential skills & competences**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MBA/CPA preferred but not required.
- 10+ years experience in Manufacturing. Preferably dealing with an international organization.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and superb organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in Cash management, fixed assets, payroll, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close procedures, budgeting and process improvement, data analysis, and excellent systems skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, SAP, IFRS, IFRS, GAAP, experience or ability to learn multiple software including, Adaptive Insights and QlikView.
