DBA Operator

Responsibilities
- Report monitoring updates to the Company's Management or designated supervisor.
- Administration of servers in AIX and Linux.
- Analyze and execute database alert actions, generated by the monitoring system.
- Analyze and execute preventive and backup maintenance actions on the defined databases.
- Performs migrations, creation of databases and modifications, according to the required needs.
- Ensure the operational continuity and maximum efficiency of the systems under its responsibility.
- Implementation of software or tools that allow the continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Issue monthly reports with metrics and monitoring and unit management.

Requirements
- Professional or technical degree in the areas of computer engineering or related career.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in database administration or system administration in Linux environments.
- Intermediate Experience in MS Office
- High Experience on Unix/Linux/AIX Shell Scripting, Crontabs, etc.
- Experience on Monitoring Services Integrations : SOAP, Rest with automated tools.
- Management of database monitoring systems, Oracle, SQL Server or Adabas (preferred).
- Proficiency in Unix Operating System, AIX specifications, Linux, Windows server.
- Rotating Shift Work Modality.
- Technical or conversational English is a plus.
- Knowledge of Azure Cloud or GCP is a plus.
