We are looking for a manager of our user acceptance team and testing process, who will oversee the development and execution of test plans and functional use cases to ensure that products meet user needs and business requirements.

The UAT manager will provide direction for the development and maintenance of a testing strategy that includes design, execution, and documentation of test cases, defects tracking, and test coverage analysis. The UAT manager will collaborate with Product Managers and Business Owners to develop a testing and execution strategy.

The UAT manager will determine how to best use existing resources to accomplish goals and objectives. Collaborates with business teams and other acceptance testing teams to maximize efficiency. The manager will generate and review recommendations for changes to enhance the overall effectiveness of user acceptance testing strategies.

The manager will oversee a team of UAT testers and analysts and provide guidance in achieving their development and career goals, while meeting department objectives. The manager will forecast the budget to sustain current efforts and implement new strategies, enhancements, and changes.

Major areas of focus:

- Manage creation of test cases and scripts to reflect user needs and business requirements.
- Establish procedures for the testing strategy including planning, designing, scripting, execution, debugging and reporting.
- Directs all user acceptance testing processes, including troubleshooting. Draws on in-depth experience with diverse and complex testing projects to ensure that collaboration is productive and advances project goals.
- Is a strong and persuasive advocate for user acceptance testing processes.
- Ensures maintenance of the UAT Knowledge Center.
- Responsibility for coaching, motivating, and developing effective and productive staff, including forecasting and resource allocation.

The typical salary range for this position is $111,000 to $169,000. The salary is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
