Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience implementing project controls or project management for multinational technical programs/projects
- Experience with cost management, cost estimating, planning, and scheduling
- Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently

Preferred qualifications:

- 5 years of experience managing multinational technical programs/projects in a mission critical environment
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvements and holding project leads accountable to greater project goals with an ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization
- Ability to successfully manage complexity and multiple priorities with excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Tenacious problem-solver with solid verbal/written communication and facilitation skills
- Comfortable shifting between detailed analysis and big picture thinking while customizing communication based on the audience

The GDC Program Controls team provides project teams with cost, schedule, process, information control expertise, and user-based reporting systems to support the optimal delivery and operation of capital assets.

As a Regional Project Controls Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes understanding project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, and it will be your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform a variety of cost engineering functions encompassing estimating, cost control, budget preparations, forecasting, and cost management with limited supervision.
- Work with Google’s Data Centers Partner teams to understand resource needs and create plans related to project control delivery and management.
- Drive continuous improvement within the specified domain and support continuous improvement in the wider organization.
- Lead and provide oversight of third-party resources assigned to projects within the region. Work with contractors and vendors to understand and meet the project control requirements.
