**Job Description**:
Based in Chile, Santiago, this position will imply developing sales strategies and execution to cultivate, stablish and maintain strong relationships and business growth within EPC assigned accounts.

This position will be responsible to develop early engagements in known and to be developed EPC accounts in order to position RA as the best partner for them, helping these customers to better attend and cover their needs of business coming from their own end user clients. This includes maintaining long term business relationships and the creation of profitable sustainable business growth, including the pull-through of all Rockwell Automation’s businesses.

This position will be responsible to develop relationships, going over the full spectrum of customer´s hierarchical structure from site locations contacts up to C-levels and VP levels inside EPCs assigned account set.

This position will report back to the Sales Manager on the progress of all strategy and results.

This position will ensure collaboration, coordination and communication with the local Account Managers from RA covering the End User Customers and Distributor branches in their geographical area in terms of sales strategy, account management, operational business plan, new business development opportunities and vertical industrial segment knowledge.

Role Requirements

Essential (these aspects are a must to fulfill the role):

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related technical/commercial field.
- Minimum of 5 years in account management and business development positions.
- Proven track record of solutions business development, delivering and/or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated ability to influence people inside and outside the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to add value both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated business forecasting and planning ability.
- Strong communication skills including written, oral and presentation skills.
- Medium to high level of English language, both oral and written.
- Travel will be required throughout Chile, travelling to Customer sites/offices and RA offices, driving license is required.
- Based or willing to be based in Santiago, Chile.
- Relevant industry knowledge with mining focus.
- Early adopter profile with willingness to learn new technologies, new business models and new ways of doing things.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer´s objectives (financial/business) to later propose solutions that will help customer´s accomplish them.
- Experience working with/in EPC accounts.
- +10 years in account management and business development positions.
- Ability to identify Key Decision Makers inside customers.
- Experience using discipline sales process tools (CRM i.e. Dynamics).
- Willingness to network inside/outside the organization.
- Takes initiative in response to changing circumstances within the organization or markets.
- Able to demonstrate collaborative working.
- Diverse communication skills (social media, panels, corporate).
- Positive Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

- Grow of RA business within EPCs self-structure assigned accounts and by influence through assigned EPC accounts to End User accounts and ecosystem (OEMs, e-house builders, System Integrators), reaching and/or exceeding RA sales goals.
- Develop interpersonal relationships at all hierarchical levels inside EPCs assigned accounts which will better position RA as the best partner to help with their own business.
- Guide and influence colleagues inside RA to ensure sales proposals and contracts are delivered to the customer in compliance with Company Policies and Standards, obtaining the appropriate approvals.
- Consult with other functions inside RA on challenges like pricing, technical solutions specifications, technical capabilities, and solutions fit to ensure that we provide the appropriate business and technical solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate with all internal and external sales and support teams to increase market penetration, assure sales coverage and provide appropriated order fulfilment.
- Develop, use and share concepts and ideas that demonstrate Rockwell Automation’s capabilities.
- Build effective business relationship with the customer through understanding it
