**About the role**:
The purpose of this role is leading the management of Mineral Americas Outsourced Infrastructure including Kelar power plant, Kelti transmission lines and Caitán desalination plant to provide power and water to the assets at competitive cost under safe conditions. The management includes assets power purchase agreements and spot power
purchases through Tamakaya business model and the BOOT contract for Spence desalination plant.
Leading the commercial negotiations, the management business opportunities to supply power to the operation and desalt water for Spence.

Transversal Role
- Provides advice to the organisation (operations & staff areas) in power matters for all MinAm assets and water supply for Spence.
- Ensure the technical, commercial & operational administration of the Spence BOOT contract, managing potential risks to ensure the security of water supply to the SGO operation.
- Demonstrate and encourage a strong commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
- Lead the compliance with the requirements of corporate governance applicable to the development of the activities of the Management.
- Leading the implementation of systems and tools necessary for the effective management of energy contracts, including those required by Tamakaya and Kelti for efficient operation.
- Lead the definition and implementation of the commercial strategy in relation to the active management of power contracts, including those related to Tamakaya.
- Lead the coordination of Tamakaya's representation to the CEN and other regulatory authorities.
- Monitor the electrical regulation and define the strategy of Tamakaya against the requirements of regulators or against the regulatory proposals that affect it.
- Lead the processes related to the administration of energy contracts, including transactions related to Tamakaya.
- Leading planning processes to achieve a secure, reliable and competitively priced energy supply from existing energy contracts and demand estimates of operations.
- Support in the design of strategies of development and contracting of power and water supply of Copper's operations in conditions and prices competitive in the market.
- Contribute to the sustainable growth of copper through the management of power and water supply.

**About You**:
Professional experience requirements:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline(s), Economics or related discipline.
- Ideally further study such as an MBA or specialization in general management and project management.
- Typically 15+ years of experience in the mining or utility (power or water) industry.
- High degree of business acumen, with deep understanding of capital investment lifecycle and drivers.
- Continuous improvement methodology experience.
- Deep understanding of the operating model - the interaction between Processes, Systems and People.
- English and Spanish written and spoken.
