**Job Purpose**

Develop and implement a strategy to generate a portfolio of both digital solutions and consulting services in LATAM markets. Increase business opportunities for digital solutions along with consulting services based on the success of technology support, Performance Assurance activities and the MPC Program. Ability to make high quality management decisions ensuring that strategic business goals and objectives are achieved. Provides internal and external management and consulting to develop and enhance mining solutions based on business needs with a holistic approach formed through a deep understanding of mining processes. Manages the implementation and deployment of value-added services.

Coordinates customer success corporate activities regionally in support of Modular's service model, product development, sales and marketing.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

Consulting
- Increase business opportunities for digital and consulting solutions, based on successful technology support and performance assurance activities.
- Performs analysis to develop pragmatic/practical solutions that address clients’ business needs
- Utilizes appropriate interpersonal and technical skills to support analysis, and develop partnerships with clients to solve problems
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises professional ethics in all interventions
- Utilizes other resources, when necessary, to meet client requirements
- Manages and leads activities/tasks associated with consulting/mining services in coordination with the local and corporate Customer Success professional services team
- Manages the Mining Value-Add Solution activities, providing client performance tracking
- Visits the mine sites to meet decision making Managers and strategic stakeholders, as frequently as needed
- Anticipates what internal and external stakeholders must know about support issues/requests, and provides the information to relevant stakeholders
- Reporting internally on consulting service performance

Sales Coordination
- Develop and implement a strategy to generate a portfolio of both digital solutions and consulting services in LATAM markets
- Provides internal and external management and consultancy to develop and improve mining solutions based on business needs with a holistic approach formed through a deep understanding of mine processes
- Uncover and address customer needs
- Works in coordination with the KAMs to present business proposals

Project Management
- Ensure an adequate sales pipeline and sales delivery
- Ensures a timely response to client needs
- Manages difficult or emotional client situations on escalation
- Take appropriate action to maintain satisfied customers with acceptable financial results for Modular Mining
- Deliver acceptable and continuously improving financial results from MMS/Customer business relationships
- Manages mining solutions projects on time and on budget
- Completes work thoroughly and accurately without sacrificing quality
- Organizes and plans a work schedule for maximum results
- Develops a project plan
- Monitors and tracks progress
- Builds buy-in and effectively communicates project plan to team members
- Anticipates and overcomes obstacles
- Manages and acquires the human resources required to deliver the project

**Required Skills**:

- Degree in Mining Engineering is preferred
- Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering degree only complemented with a strong and successful experience in mining services, customer service or mine consulting management positions
- At least 10 years of experience in Mining industry work experience in a management position pertaining to mine planning, mine operations or mine technology, or in a Modular role of Consulting supervision, Customer Service or Performance Assurance
- Previous internal experience as a manager, principal consultant or consulting supervisor within Customer Value corporate preferred
- In non-native English language regions, advanced English proficiency (oral and written)
- Experience with digital solutions focused on mining
