WHAT WILL BE YOUR IMPACT?

The Accounting Manager is responsible for develop, maintain and supervise the tasks, activities and management of the accounting team.

The main responsibilities of the position are:

  • Lead and supervise the treasury, accounting, internal accounting control and tax teams to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all financial activities of the company.
  • Prepare and deliver the company's financial statements, providing accurate and reliable information on the organization's financial position and operating results.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, developing mutual understanding and effective collaboration with external auditors to ensure a successful audit and comply with the company's legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Conduct a thorough and impartial review of the company's financial statements by assessing the accuracy, completeness and reliability of the financial information presented, as well as identifying any risks or irregularities that may affect the decision making of the users of the financial statements.
  • Prepare and present reports to the parent company in order to provide a clear and accurate view of the financial position and operating results.
  • Prepare and present reports to the company's internal managers.
  • Management control.
  • Management and development of key performance indicators (KPIs) of the accounting area, which will allow to evaluate and measure the performance of the accounting function, thus ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's financial processes.
  • Leading audits
  • Be in continuous contact with the different accounting and financial groups of (Glasgow/Chicago).

The Accounting Manager role reports directly to the country/location CFO.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bacherol degree - preferably in accounting or related areas.
  • 10 years of experience.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Experience in PR implementation (GDE), knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel level.
  • System management: GD Edwards, Oracle.
