About your role

As a integral member of the LatAm sales team (Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil), the Sales Manager works in partnership with the Sales Team to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the Latam sales plan throughout its client base (Wholesale and Institutional clients). The role includes sales skills, experience in the sector and relationship with clients are valued.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as day-to-day client contact, including principal contact for designated clients
  2. Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with selected clients
    This includes:
    1. Development of a relationship network with the client
    2. Drafting of a client map
    3. Managing of joint marketing and distribution activities
    4. Thorough assessment of the clients’ needs resulting in unsurpassed, continuously improving client service
  3. Liaise closely with the sales teams responsible and with the marketing department
  4. Actively contribute to further develop Fidelity’s Latam business to support, achieve and secure long-term business growth
  5. Work closely with the Marketing team to come up with creative marketing ideas i.e. for road shows or joint marketing campaigns with key clients
  6. Achieve net sales targets within your client group

About you

  • Higher education in business, finance or economics
  • Proven success of at least 5 years of professional experience in the financial industry, ideally with experience in the asset management industry
  • Willing and able to travel
  • Excellent knowledge of the Latam asset management industry and trends
  • Experience in presenting to large audiences
  • Creative and imaginative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to build on strong commercial skills
  • Able to work independently yet a team player
  • Business fluent in both Spanish and English
  • The commitment to successfully complete an industry recognised qualification
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, well organised
  • Good PC knowledge with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in using Sales Force and Morningstar Direct is a plus
