- Possess good knowledge inimplementing and back-testing complex strategies in VBA andPython
- Be familiar with equity, foreign exchange, commodities,interest rates, and futures and options trading.
- Have experiencein running sanity checks and reporting daily maintenance of theindices.
- Be responsible for periodic rolls and rebalancing andcarrying out other lifecycle events.
- Design and implement newchecks and controls as per client requirements.
- Have strongfunctional knowledge of financial and quantitative concepts.
-Collaborate and provide ideas on the implementation of controls anddesign frameworks.
- Manage sub-projects and timelines.
-Respond to ad-hoc client requests. **Skills we’re lookingfor**: - Professional degree in Engineering (e.g.: Industrial,Computer, Commercial) with programming skills with
- 2+ year ofexperience on the field.
- Hands-on experience in index developmentand maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of quantitative investmentstrategies
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, andproblem-solving skills
- Comprehensive understanding of Python,VBA
- Commodities, Futures, Indices and back testing of differentstrategies.
- Keen interest in quantitative finance and fundamentalfactors affecting the valuation of various asset classes in the globaleconomy.
- Good knowledge of market data providers such asBloomberg and Reuters
- Ability to manage / collaborate with teammembers remotely.
- Ability to interact with internationalclients.
- Ability to identify and solve issues effectively ontime.
- Attention to detail.
