Participe en la explotación de la mayor infraestructura de computación en la nube del mundo. Amazon Web Services está buscando a personas brillantes, motivadas y laboriosas para cubrir los puestos de especialista en logística de centros de datos. El candidato ideal cuenta con una sólida ética profesional, atención al detalle, capacidad para cumplir con los plazos de entrega y está comprometido con la seguridad y la excelencia operativa. Los especialistas en logística supervisan todos los niveles de inventario para comprobar que las existencias se mantengan en los niveles adecuados para apoyar las actividades de construcción y reparación del centro. Reciben y verifican las piezas y mantienen al día el inventario según sea necesario para los técnicos e ingenieros del centro de datos. También se ocuparán de cargar y descargar los envíos y de transportar las piezas entre las diferentes ubicaciones. Para realizar este trabajo, es necesario levantar frecuentemente materiales y productos. Los especialistas en logística deberán llevar un registro minucioso de todos los artículos que entran y salen de la empresa. También deben encargarse de la limpieza, organización y seguridad de todo el espacio de trabajo. Deben estar disponibles para trabajar a turnos.

Responsabilidades clave del trabajo:

  1. Requiere estar de pie, sentado y caminar por períodos prolongados de tiempo.
  2. Normalmente, el trabajo se lleva a cabo en un entorno de almacén en el que el nivel de ruido es moderado.
  3. También es posible que el trabajo se realice en un centro de datos donde el nivel de ruido sea elevado.
  4. Asistir ocasionalmente en la carga y descarga de envíos.
  5. A veces es necesario exponerse a temperaturas frías o calientes.
  6. Trabajar con o alrededor de partes mecánicas en movimiento.
  7. El nivel de ruido puede variar y ser elevado.

Requisitos mínimos:

  1. Título universitario.
  2. Nivel de inglés avanzado (escrito y hablado).
  3. De 3 a 5 años de experiencia en logística o cadenas de suministro.
  4. Conocimientos avanzados de informática y Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  5. Ser capaz de hacer horas extra según sea necesario.
  6. Subir y bajar escaleras de forma continua y segura (se aplica a locales con escaleras).
  7. Caminar frecuentemente, usar las manos, manejar objetos, alcanzar objetos con las manos y los brazos, agacharse, arrodillarse y acuclillarse.
  8. Coordinar los movimientos del cuerpo cuando se utilizan herramientas o equipos.
  9. Realizar tareas físicas todo el día sin cansarse demasiado.
  10. Empujar o tirar de objetos pesados para colocarlos en la posición deseada (hasta 18 kg).
  11. Demostrar una actitud de trabajo positiva y capacidades de liderazgo.
  12. Conocimientos avanzados en las prácticas de envío, recepción, inventario y distribución en almacenes.
  13. Conocimientos sobre las herramientas de gestión de inventario.
  14. Compromiso con una cultura de seguridad y protección.
  15. Capacidad de trabajar por iniciativa propia.
  16. Demostrar capacidad para rendir por encima de los niveles mínimos durante un período de tiempo prolongado.
  17. El conocimiento de la industria de TI de logística sería una ventaja.
  18. Capacidades analíticas para profundizar sobre los problemas y análisis de inventario.
