About This Role- This role makes a difference to our residents' overall well-being and happiness and brings peace of mind to families that their loved ones are cared for and treated well.
- Administer medication and provide treatment assistance as per healthcare provider orders.
- Adhere to narcotic and PRN policies of Aviva Senior Living.
- Report any changes in residents' physical condition or behaviors.
- Maintain accurate records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
- Follow scheduled resident needs set out by the supervisor.
- Provide emotional and social support to residents.
- Comply with all community policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified to administer medications in the applicable state.
- One to two years of related work experience preferred.
- Skilled in caring for residents with memory impairments and secondary diagnosis.
- Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner, demonstrating patience and compassion.
- Ability to safely handle food according to facility policies and regulations.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of state regulations.
- Proficient in reading and writing English.
