In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. Position Summary The Cardiovascular Technologist performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all procedures. Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. In addition trains Cardiovascular Technicians and other Cath Lab personnel. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Education Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post‑secondary educational program in health science, or equivalent education Preferred Education Acknowledged but not required; Minimum Experience 2 years of interventional Cath Lab or 2 years of Electrophysiology experience Preferred Experience NA Required Certifications / Licensure Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Preferred Certifications / Licensure Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) Required Courses / Completions Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant’s or employee’s race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
